With 38 years of experience practicing law in New York and New Jersey, Lance E. Kuba, Esq. is the founder and principal attorney of The Kuba Law Firm, PC (KLF), a modern immigration law practice headquartered in Manhattan and serving clients across the United States. Lance’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to advocating for immigrants, families, and businesses with skill, integrity, and unwavering dedication.
Lance began his legal career working alongside his father, Ronald J. Kuba, in a general practice with a strong focus on immigration law. During his first 11 years as a young attorney, he gained deep, hands-on experience across all aspects of the immigration system—including family-based immigration, asylum matters, removal defense, and both state and federal court litigation—representing a remarkably diverse client base.
In 1998, Lance co-founded a new firm with William Ferro, Esq., which today is known as Ferro, Kuba, Mangano, PC (FKM). For the next 28 years, Lance led and expanded one of the region’s most successful transactional departments, focusing on real estate transactions, lender representation, and small- to mid-sized corporate matters and litigation.
The firm represents individuals and families from countries all over the world and serves clients not only in the New York metropolitan area but throughout the United States.

In June 2023, Lance acquired his father’s immigration practice and launched The Kuba Law Firm, PC, restoring the firm’s original mission with a modern approach. Under his leadership, KLF revitalized its infrastructure, expanded staffing, and embraced technology to better serve clients nationwide. Today, KLF handles the full spectrum of immigration matters, including green card applications, family-based immigration, asylum claims, removal defense, immigration litigation, VAWA and abused-spouse cases, and relief for victims of crime. The firm represents individuals and families from countries all over the world and serves clients not only in the New York metropolitan area but throughout the United States—including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, California, and more.

Outside the office, Lance enjoys time with his wife of 38 years, Lisa, their sons Leo (and his girlfriend Sierra) and Luke (and his fiancée Sam). He also enjoys golf—“likes it, doesn’t love it”—and boating and listening to live music whenever he can….and Lisa and Lance love the beach.
